The organization is named the Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA). It is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization established to serve the people of Afghanistan.

Governance Structure
RRAA is governed by a robust structure ensuring accountability:
- The General Assembly: The highest decision-making body of the organization.
- Board of Trustees: Responsible for strategic oversight and policy approval.
- Executive Directorate: Led by the Director, responsible for daily operations and implementation.
